qchem and gpt are demonstrations of the cosmosis framework modeling molecules and Shakespeare respectively.
sagan is the architecture to serve it on the web.
I walk through some of the code and show some examples and demonstrate sagan running gpt running cosmosis with my toy app -- a Shakespeare chat bot.

I was briefly a Pararescueman. It was an amazing experience to say the least. It taught me a lot about teamwork and dedication. I met some brave people.
I worked in organ donation for some years and in several capacities, from coordinator to director -- a fairly intense experience. It afforded me the opportunity to work in critical care medicine and surgery and on some of the most difficult and interesting problems. I got to work with some of the most highly trained teams using the most cutting edge medicine. I learned a lot about working with diverse groups of highly trained experts to solve critical time dependent problems. I learned a lot of medicine and a little about heath care. I met some amazing people.
I saw a real need for the better application of data to solve problems in both clinical and business decision making. We worked with dozens of different transplant and critical care teams and each with their own strongly held opinions about how things should be done. For me, data is the path to sorting out disagreements or making better decisions. With this in mind I looked to take a statistics class or two online while taking some time off with the birth of my first son. I took Stanford's now iconic Statistical Learning and Machine Learning classes and never looked back. I have loved being a full time father and student and practitioner of data science ever since.
I have a degree in cellular and molecular biology from the University of Washington, Seattle.
I am interested in the development of data science as a tool for scientific exploration and for better human-in-the-loop decision making.
